INTRODUCTION

I am Donnette Ferdinand, a class teacher for almost twenty five years. All of these years were spent at the primary level.  Currently, I am assigned to the Fairhall Government School where I am the Language Arts and Information Technology teacher in Grades Five and Six.  I am also the school's IT Coordinator. My school is located in a suburban area in St. Vincent and it is only four years old.

I have specialized training in literacy and I am particularly fascinated with how ICT tools can be used to enhance language learning. I am therefore confident that the skills acquired through my exposure to the course material will assist me in my ICT integration efforts.
